from a place of loss
our wilderness
our separation from God
Brought near
a new home
safe, in comfort
in the loving arms of God
Brought near
from the world
from our estrangement
new life in God
Brought near
to God’s heart
into God’s love
never to go away
Brought near
here I’ll stay
in the sheepfold
in the loving arms of God
