Of Man, of Woman
of the King, the Creator
We see the Prodigal Son,
the fatted calf, sacrificed
we see the fragrant oil
washing of his feet,
anointing His head,
a gift of her heart
The washing with tears,
wiping with her hair
Uncommon, extravagant gifts
poured out in love
Lessons before the sacrifice
of the lamb, the Christ
that Passover, changed
so long ago
