in the
light
I am bare,
naked,
all of my
cracks
my scar,
reminders,
all
visible, exposed
in the
light I see them
my sins, my
rebellion,
tattooed
upon my flesh
not able to
wash them
to cover my
cracks
my clay yet
broken
wanting to
be a vessel
to hold
living water
yet
compromised, cracked
threads of
evil remaining
in the
light I see them
the threads
remaining
the scar
tissue, the hurt,
woven in
the fabric
my body, my
life
in the
light
I am bare,
naked
I am washed
in the water
I am
cleansed, I am clean
in the
waters of Christ
