The flowers of this morning
rose, hyacinth, tulips,
daffodils,
and narcissus, in her garden
suddenly illumined;
washed, from a distance,
Alive in holy light.
Fleeting light,
transcendent,
reflected for but a moment;
The sunlight hitting
the windows across the
street.
Refracted, streaming,
landing on this piece of
earth.
