New Sight, New Eyes – v3

New sight, new eyes
these we long for
in the changing of the decade
in the day of epiphany

To see the Christ, Jesus,
in the face of our neighbors
to feel God’s presence
right beside us on our way

The love of God
the musing of the Spirit
stirring within our hearts
to step out in faith

Trusting our lives
our fortunes, our futures
being like the disciples
leaving our nets, our lives,
and following the Christ
