The prayer Christ taught us,
of the Savior, God incarnate
written in the scriptures
beginning with a name of God
a loving intimate name,
not a cold, aloof God
a judgmental God in heaven
A loving father, real and personal
caring, forgiving,
reaching for us,
for a connection
a living relationship
with our God, our Father,
hallowed be His name

“Our
Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be they name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen.
hallowed be they name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen.
