Railing against the imbalance – v3

They are railing against the imbalance

in the widening gap in income, of wealth

the structural calamity  building

in the haves and have nots

They are railing against the imbalance

the widening gap of our people

too few finding the Dream fulfilled

the rest struggling to eat

They are railing against the imbalance

the harm to our economy

the cancer growing on the body

on the soul of our nation

They are railing against the imbalance

the harm to our sense of community

too few in the top, the upper tier,

and the shrinking middle class
