The
sons of Jacob, of Israel,
our
older brothers
our
Jewish brethren
their
hearts hardened;
Unable
to believe Your Word
not
able to see Jesus
standing
right before them
blind
to our Lord
the
long-promised Messiah
The
daughters of Rachel
our
older sisters
unable
to hear Your call
to
believe the signs before them;
Not
believing the disciples
those
who would follow
not
seeing Christ
blind
to our Lord
the
long-promised Savior
May
their eyes be opened
all
of Israel’s children
all
of the children of Abraham
each
sister, each brother;
May
they see our Savior,
May
their hearts be filled with blessings
with
God’s love to share
now
that they see Christ
