a voice speaking from the cloud

more than we could comprehend

this journey with Jesus

up to the mountain

at the mountaintop

first there Christ’s face

all aglow, seemingly on fire

then we saw Moses, Elijah

speaking to Him

then a voice speaking from the cloud

claiming Jesus as God’s Son

so much to take in

little wonder Peter choked

offering to make tents for them

until they were nothing but smoke
