I don’t live for Christ

I don’t live for Christ
with my whole heart, fully,
I hold onto pieces of my life
to live by the flesh…
 
I am striving forward,
but I apply fetters on my life,
chains that keep me from God,
from the way of the Servant…
 
I must truly repent,
I must turn my life over
trusting God with my seconds
that I might fulfill my calling…
 
I must reject the way of the flesh,
holding onto my self-importance,
I must put on the mantle of Christ,
worshiping God alone, only…
