For us, this is a heavy lesson,
the bread of life,
contained within the scripture
harkening back to the manna
in the desert
the provision of the people’s needs
day by day, just enough
the daily bread of the psalmist
now in the person of the savior
the son, God with us,
the Christ, living among us
for he was the one, is the one
who provides, who nourishes
who maintains our strength
our strength to serve,
to humbly follow his example
eating of the bread of life

Hello there, 1844 poems since April 2000? You're like a poetry machine! I write poems too but I haven't put up any of my own on my blog yet :) Someday I will :) God bless!
