A God of love, of forgiveness
of grace, so is our Savior
Even in the moment of death
of humiliation, hanging on the cross
He thought of us, of all the world,
our humanity and our sins
and forgave us, all of us
for our sin, each one
even those who lifted him on the cross
instruments of his death
they too, in the act
forgiven by our Lord
