The children, in the chancel
with the pastors
hearing a small bible story
a large gathering of our children
listening, fidgeting, playing, worshiping
But, this time in the service
far more important for us,
for the adults in the sanctuary
than for them
Because we are the ones
who need the reminder
to have the wonder of children
before our God
to see their reactions
their questions, their answers
that draw all of us
closer to God
