He lifted me, saved me
from my old broken life
He lifted me, carried me
with a servant’s hands
Taking his arms, nailed to the cross
so long ago, for me
reaching down, with arms open wide
to bring me close
the love of his father
shared by his sacrifice
a servant’s hands
saved me
