The hands of a servant, cleaning their feet,
caring for the sick, working the land
tilling the soil, carrying the load
pruning the branches, sweeping the streets
doing what they need, their heart’s desire
speaking truth, sharing love, fulfilling all
Carrying our shame, our stain
bearing our burden, to the end
Choosing to be the sacrifice
the lamb on the cross
as a servant, humbled
a king in a manger bed
our savior, his hands
on our cross
