Walking, reading, pondering, waiting
a journey of waiting, expectant, hopeful
of his miraculous birth, the story of his life
for his coming, to rescue the faithful
to bring us to our heavenly home
expectantly waiting for Christmas
waiting expectantly for his second coming
so is the journey of waiting
this advent and all year long
