A tree beside the stream
roots in living water
drinking in the word of God
the life giving waters
flowing free
We each, if we are so blessed
growing in each season
bearing fruit for those
who are hungry
knowing when to sleep,
when to grow, drinking deeply
planted in good earth
by living waters
of God’s everlasting love.
