The judgment of the righteous
there in Caiaphas’ house
a wonder to think about
he was merely teaching
what they were taught
bringing the message
the love of the creator
the God of the people
speaking directly to them
Only in claiming his identity
his true nature, the Christ
in this was the judgment
they could not let go of their power
could not believe the prophecy
the fulfillment of God’s promise
taking on our sin
that we may live again
