True love revealed
heavenly mercy in his action
stopping what he was doing
to heal the one who came
Christ by his example
the challenge of his questions
making us face our limits
the truth of our inner faith
Seeing the need and meeting it
not bound by ancient rules
going beyond our comfort
in doing what is right
Offering love, and mercy
continuing our master’s work
opening our doors to all
everyone welcomed in
