At the heart of our faith
the message we hand down
from one generation to the other
the love of God revealed
His empty tomb at the center
not merely the empty cross
the heavy price he paid
but oh the joy remains
Changing the world forever
redeeming all mankind
his message handed down
to this present age
Ours to continue
to each generation in turn
teaching as we were taught
going to the ends of the earth
Sent as he was sent, out into the world
until the whole world knows
the love of our creator
our master, our Lord
