A Reminder of His Teaching

A kernel of our savior
living within each of us
the spirit speaking
a reminder of his teaching
the story of God’s love

A gadfly to each believer
the shepherd’s steps to follow
turning our lives over
away from the world, from sin
remaining yoked with our brother

The eternal connection
the holy continuum
from the father to the son
the spirit guiding us to him
when our work here is done
