As Christ descended
coming into human form
so we should stand in our neighbor’s shoes
to understand our fellow man
Not separating the people
not holding onto arcane rules
loving all who need us
doing all we can
Modeling his behavior
healing those in pain
offering freedom for the prisoners
praise in his loving name
