Somehow the law contorted
losing its meaning
the very stuff of God
condemned on the Sabbath
Love is the very essence of God
misunderstanding healing
lovingly caring for our neighbor
brings God into their presence
We are to be loving
to offering healing to those in need
not bound by Sabbath rules
guided by our creator’s call
Healing is not work
a sacrifice of grace instead
offering God’s loving touch
comfort in his name
