Suffering with them
True empathy for our neighbor
even our enemy
standing in their shoes
as if we were suffering
Going through their pain
suffering with our neighbors
that we would offer aid
Carrying our brothers
healing our sister’s ache
offering loving kindness
in our savior’s name
