Not fearing the storms
anchored on the Christ
secure in God
the source of all our strength
Rest while the winds may blast
in the raging torrent
while we may feel buffered
in his our quiet refuge
The safe harbor of our lord
in him we find out peace
rest from the storms of life
this is our prayer, our offering

------------
Jesus Slept
In the one who came from heaven
remembering the sabbath
taking time for rest
Jesus slept in the boat
the winds, the waves
the storm all around
trusting in the creator
to guide their path
to watch over them
leading them to still waters
rest from their labors
