The story of the rich man
sitting in luxury
the beggar outside his door
hurting, needing help
Adored in his finery
descending to death
sitting in the fires of Hell
wondering where is his wealth
Failing to live by the law
to love his fellow man
thinking only about the world
not doing what he can
Turning from the Lord
not teaching the children
the way to life through Christ
the way of caring through the cross
