Well-dressed in Hell
The rich man at the end of his days
ignoring the needs of his fellows
sitting well-dressed in Hell
the others in the highest heaven
No way to rise
to ascend above
no way to fix
the wrong he had done
Ours only the here, the now,
our time on earth
to live by his law
to seek eternal birth
To go as we are called
to answer his prayer
to love one another
as God does command
No chance later
a message from the dead
our time is now
to spread God’s love around
Hope for the poor
the down and out
by living as Christ
casting out all doubt
Our work to do
as we have been called
to love one another
until Christ comes again
