Hearts of Flesh
As the shepherd of the people
as a good neighbor to our brothers
so God can change us
if we turn to him
Away from the world
which turned our hearts to stone
returning to God
for hearts of flesh alone
Mercy and justice
for our fellow man
humbly before God
his eternal sovereignty
Lost sheep returning
into his fold
new spirits within us
carrying his love
to the ends of the earth
