Oh so rich, resplendent
the gift that God offers
how he ached
in the garden
when they found their nakedness
The tears of God washing
the living water
his pain, his sacrifice
healing the breach
the rift that man created
offering each of us
God’s arms, his forgiveness
salvation in Christ
his body, his blood
poured out on us
bringing us back to him
into his sweet embrace
