Offered Living Water

The woman restless
there in the hot sun
seeking water from the well
conversation instead

Offered living water
a relationship with God
bound by her understanding
not hearing Christ’s offer

Life everlasting
communion with him
walking with our Savior
that we would truly live

Each of us offered
living water by Christ
only to accept it
to walk in life with him
