Choosing the cup

Choosing the cup
not something thrust upon him
willingly drinking the stain
taking on our sin
Christ choosing to sacrifice
the high priest, the Son
choosing to fulfill
all prophecy
giving himself freely
that all would be free
offering us salvation
a path to eternity
