The Love of God Came Down

The love of God came down
Jesus, the Son
descended from heaven
the embodiment of love
God, Emmanuel
walking with us
here to save us
to fill us with God’s love
filled to be poured
messengers of that hope
God incarnate
living with us
come to save us
to redeem us from death
walking with us
out of the depths of God’s love
