Something more urgent
Christ’s time was now
ready to face the passion
to lay his life down
prepared for the journey
focused on God’s plan
taking up the cup
for the way of the cross
ready to give himself for us
ready to pay our judgment
his life on the cross
healing us for the gathering
that none of us would be lost
