with Christ, walking with him
as he walked with God
humble, as his servant
guided in our walk
follow him, unburdened
letting go of this life
offering ourselves to him
walking in the light
living as his disciples
followers of the light
bearing forth our witness
our gifts in this life
we are but clay
a breath in this life
guided by Christ’s example
walking in his light
sharing as we are given
gifts on this walk
far more than our words
far more than our talk
with Christ, walking with him
as he sacrificed
submissive to the Father
our purpose in life
