From a strong foundation
Not with a finger to the wind
seeking to find a groundswell
believing in something
knowing yourself so well
where you are grounded
a reservoir of belief
from such a strong foundation
able to compromise
to seek common ground
not buffeted by the currents
but charting a course
a way to come together
for the common good
