how is it really with my soul

the Lenten journey
striving to walk with Christ
at it’s heart a time of reflection
raising us from the dust
we begin in ashes
but we rise in victory
from the depths of the journey
through the Cross of Calvary
to the Lamb upon his throne
the journey introspection
what I need to let go of
what I need to pick up
how I can walk more closely
with my Savior and my God
how is it really with my soul
how is it with my walk
do I strive to be like Jesus
in my words and in my walk
