Still dripping with water

No time to waste
Christ up from the water
the Spirit upon him
a physical presence
lifting him up
still dripping with water
the Spirit pushing Christ
into the wild
there to be tested
to prove his mettle
to prove he was ready
to spread God’s message
the kingdom near
here on the earth
