what should we say
about this time of Lent
the road we will travel
from the dust to the cross
the pain he would suffer
because of our deep sin
sorrow upon sorrow
but that is not the last
the journey yet continues
to the garden after the darkness
when Light reentered the light
when Christ rose on Easter morning
giving us all new life
