Continuing to the end of time

Our task, our commission
to be emptied, to be filled
to be a vessel of God’s love
just as Jesus was
Continuing to the end of time
until the end of the age
being emptied of ourselves
to be filled with God
poured out, an offering
hope for our fellow man
