We are called to the vine
in the call of the Christ
to drink of the vine
to takes of its fruit
We are called to partake
to remember his love
to eat of his body
and to drink of his blood
A branch of the one vine
fruit of the vine given
which we drink,
cut by other hands
not pruned by God
the fruit of the vine
the vine of the Christ
cut, poured, given for us
God pouring out his love
