We are beloved

(as God said at Christ’s baptism)

We are beloved
children of God
sent to the world
to carry God’s word

We are beloved
as God spoke from above
the anointing of Christ
when he rose from the Jordan

We are beloved
sheep of the flock
the gate of the Christ
sent to show God’s love
