not in bolts of fabric
but in swaths of color
words of the story;
The Word of Love
written for us by God
in colors, in light
in virtues, mercy
filled by the Spirit;
God’s love within
called to do our part
in swaths of color
in words of grace
our lives in God’s hand;
Held by our Creator,
evermore
in God’s love do we stand
