light bodies interwoven – v5

we are not merely lumps of clay
our visible outside, our skin
we are beings of light, of energy
free of shape, of substance
unbound by the chains of flesh
alive, in God’s love, changed
sloughing off the shell of our skin
lifted from this earth
to dance in the courts of heaven

light bodies released
water creatures flowing
as butterflies from cocoons
the blood of God’s love within
in shimmering brilliance
our true essence, from our sleep
Love lit within us
interwoven, revealing

up from the clay, the earth
flowing into God
we rise, in union
swirling, twirling,
a dance of glory
one body, one vine
our eternal provision
light bodies interwoven
dancing,  in Love, with God.
