Pulling out Kudzu

worse than dandelions

than poison ivy

an invasive species

unwanted, connected

woven into the vine

the soil, the ground

the tares with the wheat

but no time to wait for the harvest

for the difference more clear

the kudzu spreading

intertwined within

needing to be pulled out

no matter the pain
