Without flourish or
fanfare
within our spirit
honest prayer to our
Father
honest prayer to our God
what we should offer
when the load is heavy
too much to bear
what we are feeling
our hopes and our sorrows
in our despair, in our
struggles
in our triumphs as well
all of them lifted up
all given unto God
