May your light shine on our way – v4

Oh God we cry to you
from the depth, from our sorrow
in our journey, in our struggles
wanting to be with you
to feel you beside us

May your light shine on our way
in our struggles, our sorrows
when we stray from the path
may your light call us
to You at last

Our path in this life
through the wilderness
through the darkness, tempted,
walking guided, led
focused on the Christ

May your light shine on our way
leading us to You
changing our focus
from the world to You
to our sovereign God
