feeling the shard
the piece of God
seeing the kernel
God’s spark within them
the beauty, the goodness
a hope for tomorrow
maybe not yet fruitful
but worthy of love
not giving up on the tree
the gardener yet caring
wanting more time
that the tree would bear
fruit
God in His time
a harvest to come
the tree bearing fruit
the fruit of God’s love
