choosing
the cross
a path God
had written
dying for
the lost
that we may
live again;
descended
from glory
taking on
the yoke
the mantle
of the Servant
become the
Sacrifice
putting on
our sin, our shame
a garment,
heavy
the debt Christ
didn’t owe
going to
the cross;
become the
Lamb
an
offering, perfect,
dying that
we might live
if we will
follow His example
choosing
servanthood
humbly
going, doing
the
Master’s will
the work of
Salvation;
putting on
the tomb
a cloak of
death
rising in victory
going as He
was led
