choosing the
cross
the path
God had written
dying for
the lost
that we may
live again;
descended
from glory
taking on
the yoke
the mantle
of the servant
become the
sacrifice
putting on
our sin, our shame
as a
garment, heavy
the debt He
didn’t owe
going to
the cross;
become the
Lamb
the
offering, perfect,
dying that
we might live
if we will
follow
choosing
servanthood
humbly
going, doing
the Master’s
will
the work of
salvation;
putting on
the tomb
the cloak
of death
rising in
victory
going as He
was led
