not to be timid, hesitant
our lives to be offered
from the clay of our bodies
earthen jars for a purpose
to be filled, to be poured
to proclaim the Christ
an offering of love
clay jars shattered
our resistance broken
submitting our will
our bodies the offering
broken, emptied
the nard of our blood
offered, given unto God
we fall before Him
before the living Christ
as she did, entering in
Immanuel, God incarnate
our blood the offering
to bow, to wash His feet
to give all to God
our blood to be poured
our bodies on the altar
as the widow did
with the two small coins
clay vessels shattered
poured, extravagant
a fragrant offering
we are the perfume
our lives the oil,
the clay of our vessels
our lives submitted
given unto God
the fragrance, the offering
the nard offered to God
